Master thesis in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Technology was discussed the security documents development and personal identification cards, depending on the curves of the student Dhiaa Mohamed Abed.
The researcher explained that there are several methods used in preventing forgery of important documents, including the printing of documents with facilities cannot be re-printed by using available regular printers to the consumer through putting the development of properties can be distinguished using special machines through the use of printers cannot be provided by the counterfeiters and therefore, the price of these the equipment is very high-priced.
He suggested in this thesis a system to prevent forgery of vital documents such as (personal identification cards, passports, university diplomas) by using image processing and mathematics by generating a set of curves depending on the characteristics of the document. These set of Curves are unique special to that document because the group of generated curves based on the same document information.
several tests held to determine the performance of the proposed system, which showed the experimental results that the system provides a very high level of security of documents.
