The Technology agree with Drilling Company to hold workshops in the field of planning wells
Petroleum Technology Department at the University of Technology agreed with Iraqi Drilling Company of Oil Ministry to hold workshops in the field of wells planning to their members and approved to provide the Department of free necessary materials for drilling lab.
And that was when Petroleum Technology Department at the University of Technology organized a scientific visit for freshman student to Iraqi Drilling Company in Al Rashidiya.
The visit included an explanation of Occupational safety requirements to the students and visit the pumps and pools of drilling liquid and ascension to drill tower and explain the parts and operate the lifting system also the students informed about control and energy systems as well as give them a value lecture by Engineer Hassanein Fadel Edan about horizontal drilling and the importance of devices (MWD) and (LWD) in drilling.
