According to the instructions of Prof.Dr. Amin Douai Thamer the president of University in the University Council to form in Production and metals Engineering Department workshops concerned with numbers and calculating the measure axes Department performance according to the Quality Assurance Department / Scientific supervision and evaluation device the form F0090406 entitled evaluate performance of scientific Departments.
The application covers 5 axes begins of scientific research which is given a big concerned of 40%, by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the University of Technology then the second axis, containing the improvement of quality and accreditation program of 30%, passing the axis faculty members 10%, which was the third, while the fourth axis was about indicators infrastructure and university performance of 10%, and the application finished the fifth axis about the scientific activities of conferences, seminars, workshops and symposiums.
Assist.Prof.Dr. Ahmed Ali Akbar the head of production and metals engineering department confirmed the utmost importance of this project in supporting, developing and calculating the degree of scientific departments and universities, as the team leader assist.Prof.Dr. Fawzi Abdul Khaliq Hammoud explained the department striving to complete the work in laboratory field accreditation application form and the form is calculated to measure the degree axes together to achieve the slogan the department rose ambitious to reach the overall quality to support scientific research of our dearest country.
