The head of the Technology confirms that the University has made significant stages in supporting the oil sector by expertise
The of University of Technology president Prof.Dr.Ameen Douai Thamer stressed the necessity of active participation of all university departments and centers,the research of First International Scientific Conference of nanotechnology and advanced materials in the oil and gas industry through sober scientific research that reflect the University of Technology elevated position in the areas of scientific research, particularly the oil industry due to the economic importance.
He said that the University has made significant stages in service of society, especially in supporting oil sector with expertise and scientific advice. He added during headed the meeting of preparative committee of the conference that the Conference of nanotechnology applications in the oil industry is a positive reflection of fruitful cooperation for the development of production and keep up with developments in the world.
The director of the Center of Nanotechnology and advanced materials at the University Dr. Khalid Ajami said that the current conference is one of the applied scientific conferences aimed toenter nanotechnology applications in the oil and gas industry operations, referred that this conference is held in cooperation between nanotechnology and advanced materials research center at the University of Technology and Oil Production distributioncompany in Oil Ministry for a period of 3-4 / 5/2017.
