Assist.Prof.Dr. Rana Afif Majeed from Materials Engineering Department at the University of Technology has got in association with Assist.Prof.Dr. Amel Salih Merza and master's student Hiam Razak Atwan both are from Engineering Technical College/ Baghdad patented by the Central Agency for Standardization and Quality Control No. 4774 on 07/12/2016
Entitled "Local Alborslanat and natural cow bones rocks to protect the iron carbon corrosion in petroleum media"
The patent considered as a part of the thesis.
How to use nickel coating is summed up with local Alborslinat powder and alumina nanoparticles and powdered cow bones to improve the corrosion resistance of iron and carbon Allowate used to store oil solutions and has the study at 60 ° C. The results showed the efficiency of obtaining good protection.
