The president of University of Technology inaugurates a workshop of aircraft and metals laboratory in Mechanical Engineering Department

 The president of University of Technology Dr. Ameen Dawai Thamer inaugurates a workshop of aircraft and metals laboratory in Mechanical Engineering Department in the university.
He lauded the efforts made in the department and their achievement by renewed the workshop which includes many of denoted aircraft engines from the Ministry of Defense to the department and preparing the lab as well.The head of the department Dr.Mouaed Rezouk mentioned that it will be worked seriously in this workshop in order to allow students engineering aircraft Branch use them to enhance the theoretical side of their studies and become a nucleus to support the branch students.
He added that it was inaugurated metals laboratory, which includes modern equipment laboratory was purchased at the end of last year, the first in the section, which will enable students to conduct all experiments of the material in this laboratory after the students are conducting experiments in university sections and other related
It is worth mentioning that the aircraft engineering branch was founded in 1979 and is considered one of the important disciplines in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The branch featured specialized studies covering all aircraft engineer of designs and structures, aircraft engines, aviation theory, Dynamic air and gases, control and stability of the aircraft, electrical and mechanical systems and aircraft maintenance to the basis of engineering subjects in mechanical engineering.The branch is keen on coordination of scientific and interlock with the training of Iraqi Airways to benefit from the practical side to raise the efficiency of the branch students.
