Lecturer in the energy and renewable energy technology center at the University of Technology L. Meghdam Tariq Gaghan published a research for "rationalization and management of homes and buildings in the Sultanate of Oman - a case study" in Saudi Arabia, Journal of Engineering and Technology issued by the international publisher academic and scientific journals (Dubai, United Arab Emirates) for the benefit of King Fahd -Saudi University, and the magazine registered an impact factor Scopus 0.98.
The researcher said that the interest in energy conservation and management comes due to increased energy demand in the present day. And this became necessary to achieve the sustainable development of society and energy conservation means a change in the pattern of energy consumption and strives to reduce the increasing growth in consumption. The need to rationalize energy consumption and clear mechanisms to address the problem of high consumption rates. The research noted that he could complete the goal of reducing energy consumption in several ways, ranging from the design of the building, which can be obtained on the use of thermal insulation energy resources in the outer wall, another kind of methods of energy conservation. Also, replace light bulbs with lamps consume low power is one of reducing energy consumption ways.
He focused his research on researcher in electrical devices, which are commonly used in Amman houses. Measuring the number of lighting devices used in terms of energy consumption, and the number of air conditioners, and were followed up a number of working hours has also been conducting a questionnaire to measure the extent of people's knowledge of the importance of energy conservation and ways to maintain.
