Master thesis in university of technology discuss water containing residues filtering on its phenol coefficient processing using columns of Iraqi clay

Ghaida Yassin Rashid got a doctoral degree from the Department of Building and Construction Engineering at the Technical University for her thesis tagged:
"Stimulus wet oxidation water treatment residues containing the filter coefficient of phenol compounds using poles Iraqi clay " in the debate, which was held at the Hall of Graduate Studies in the department.
The thesis is aimed to prepare the AL - Fe pillars of the Iraqi clay to study various kinetic models and operating conditions for the removal of phenol from wastewater, and also to study the flow and stability system to all regions.
And among researcher soil collected from the five regions in Iraq, "Basra, Baghdad, Arbil," was preparing to add different ratios of iron results showed that the best surface area was to Arbil by 20%, then the Anbar 30% and Mosul 50% and Basra, 40% and then Baghdad, by 30%, The size of the voids are within the mesopore this suggests that the columns suitable for use as a catalyst for the removal of phenol from waste water.
