The Ensuring quality and performance in the
University of Technology discussed in the meeting which held with the
administrator of the quality of the engineering and scientific
departments in the university.
The head of the University of Technology Dr. Amin, Duway Thamer a sure
of the interest in the work of the quality and continuous follow-up
through the chief of the education process as early as member of the
teaching staff , the student and the development decisions, as well as
to upgrade the performance of staff members and affiliates to be of
importance to the upgrading of outputs.
He referred to the upgrading of the University within the global
classification of universities and improve its web site within global
universities after the success of the university in the competition for
the first centers in the classification of the Iraqi universities.
The meeting included two axes, fistful; the national standards of good
educational laboratory included arranging and archiving of work in
laboratories and included of standards for all industrial laboratories
and workshops ;second axe self-evaluation report included activation
mechanisms in the engineering and scientific departments to development
of academic programs through the development of curricula and commitment
to the norms of the institution (ABET) and raising the level of
directors of people of quality in Engineering and scientific departments
involvement of all members of the teaching staff of the university and
to involve them in the read self-evaluation reports and effective
observations, which is a proven review those reports.
