A number of lecturer of Materials Engineering Department at the University of Technology in which they are dr. FadilAtiaJiad , dr. Saad al-Badri Hassoun and dr.basimaHashim Mohammed have got patented by the Central Agency for Standardization and Quality Control in the Ministry of Planning No. 4667 on 15.08.2016 for "the preparation of nanoscale material from local materials (asphalt) in a simple manner and with very advanced uses "
