The Chairman of the Sustainable DevelopmentDepartment of the Environment Research Center Participates the International Conference for belt and road
The head of the Sustainable Development Department in the Environment Research Center at the University of Technology professor Mekdad Abdul Wahab al-Khatib participated in theInternational Conference work for belt and road the Higher Education2016, which is held in Shang Yang, the Chinese city after meeting the personal invitation of the Chinese side to attend the conferance. the conference work is continued on 4 and 5 August 2106.
The professor Miqdad al-Khatib presented a lecture during the second day of the conference under entitle:
“A Vision on the Internalization of Higher Education through B & R Initiative”
The conference ctivity and the Consultative Meeting on 08.06.2016 for the representatives of the participating countries frutful of the decision (non-binding to the Chinese side) to establish research and global consulting center works withone of the Chinese universities, so they can be selectd of the Mangment Board among the representatives of the States that inclosed under the initiative (one domain and one way B & R), including Iraq. It is worth mentioning that the conference was a high level of coordination, supervision and implementation level, with the warm hospitality and absolute participants in its work.
