Environmental Research Center hold a seminar for environmental monitoring and risk assessment
Within the scientific activity of the Environmental Research Center at the University of Technology of the academic year 2016/2017 it has beenopeneda cultural season hosted by the Centerandthe first session is held which is gave by Prof.Dr. Abdul Hameed Mohammed Jawad, the director of the center, a lecture entitled"environmental monitoring and risk assessment" in the presence of a number of the university teachers and employees in blue hall on Tuesday, 09.20.2016.
The lecture dealt with the importance of environmental monitoring in Environmental Studies and Researches as a planned and organized process ofclose monitoring activities path and compared to what is happening to what expected to happened, as well as identifying the reality and the environment state in order to derive a set of goals for research priorities and talk about environmental risk management in addition to thefollowedmethods of risks which is resulted from contaminants as a result of human activities on the plants and animals that are ecosystem.
Then the discussion has been made and took its advantage to contribute in supporting the research projects.
