Congratulation for our university for winning 7 awards at the
Iraqi science day
The University of Technology gets the second best university
which has made more achievements.
The mister of higher education and scientific research Dr. Abed Alrazaq Aleasa awards the University of Technology for getting the second place at the Iraqi science day.
The minister presented the award to the university's president Dr. Amin Daway Thamir during the annual event entitled " Ministry of higher education is the source of science and knowledge" hosted by the department of research and development on Thursday, September 22, 2016 ( Al-Hakeem Hall- University of Baghdad). This event attended by many universities' presidents to get their honor.
The university's awards was as follow:
- Engineering and Technology Magazine got the best scientific and reliable engineering magazine.
- The Nanotechnology and advanced research center got the second place for the best research center.
- Dr. Majed Sike Jaber got two awards for the best research in the Medical and Health Sciences specialization.
-Dr. Majed Sike Jaber got the best lecturer who publishes researches in the Medical and Health Sciences specialization.
- Dr. Yasmin Kadhum Al-Majidi got the second place in the Natural Sciences specialization.
- Dr. Raied Abdul-wahab, Dr. Gassan Mohammed Suleiman and Thoriya Radam Marzooq got the best scientific research award in the applied science in 2015 according to the Iraqi scientists union (Neisa)
At the end, the minister states in his speech that he will do his best to keep the rights of all universities faculty members, adding that the Lecturers at the university have the same rolls as the soldiers do at the battle field.
