A Teacher from Production and Metals Engineering Department at University of Technology Prof.Dr. Muna Khudair Abbas published a scientific research in the Arab Journal of Science and Engineering(Springer), folder41, No. 6, 2016 in conjunction with teachers assist.Prof.Dr.Sabah Khamas Hussein and Ahmed Adnan Khudair fromEngineering Technique College atAl-Wista Technical University about mechanical properties idealization of the spot-welding joints mixing friction of the aluminum dissimilar alloy (AA2024T3 and AA5754-H114)
According to the researcher that the spot-welding process with mixing friction of dissimilar aluminum alloy sheets (AA2024T3 and AA5754-H114) with a thickness of 2 mm. conducted in different rotation speed of welding tools (800, 1000.1250) rpm and different penetration times of welding tools (30.60, 90) seconds and use different geometric designs welding tools nail.
And she used Takeuchi way to design experiments by using (Minitab 17) program to identify the optimal conditions of welding process factors that referred above and see the impact of each factor on the mechanical properties (great power of shear and accuratehardness) of the connection spot-welding and the rate of each factorcontribution.
