And the University of Technology succeeded in achieving the best jump in its history onAsian level obtaining 1123 ranking in Asian among 11403 University after it was in the 1303 Asian rankings.

The university was able to get the (99) rank on the Arab level among (971) University to rank among the best (100) University.

On the local level, the university kept the third place among 69 university and private college whenit comes after the Babylon University of the first rank (2272) globally and the Baghdad University of the second rank (2504) globally.

This achievement comes withprocedures that adopted by the university to keep up the developments with international universities,the permanent follow-up of the University of Technology President Prof. Dr. Amin Douai Thamer and his continued meetings with the committees and cadres of Information and Communication Technology Center at the university by establishinga group of notableprojects to the site that have contributed reaching this ranking.
