University of Technology Signed a Memorandum Of Understanding With The British Council On English Language Transnational Education(TNE)

University of Technology and the British Council signed a memorandum of understanding of a program to teach English through ‘transnational education on Sunday June 26, 2016 in the University Council Hall.
The agreement was signed by the President of the University of Technology Prof. Dr. Prof. Dr. Amin Daway Thamir as the university representative, director of educational programs Tarik Ammar as a representative of the British Council .The event was attended by Assistant.Prof. Alaa Abdulhasan Atiyah Vice President of Scientific and Postgraduate Affairs and Dr. Arwa F. Tawfeeq director of English language Center .
The president of the university expresses his happiness of providing the students of the University of Technology with the modern educational experiences ,he also stresses on enhancing cooperation ties between the British Council and English Language Center to apply modern educational programs that aimed to the development of the English language among the students of the university.
Tarik Ammar the director of programs assured that this agreement is the first step of mutual cooperation and there will be other new programs with the University of Technology.
This program aims to increase English vocabulary and practical phrases, improve listening and reading skills, , arising confidence in using English language and learning experience of transnational education(TNE).Both sides will work on this agreement in the next few days .The study begins during current summer vacation, final test dated at the end of the study .The student will grant an international certificate from the British Council..
