The Department of Control and Systems Engineering Granted The Student Ahmed Samir Muhsin a Master degree on His Thesis Titled “Design of Intelligent Controller Fuzzy Logic and State Flow Based Controllers for Automatic Transmission”

The student (Ahmed Samir Muhsin) at the department of control and systems engineering has been granted M.Sc.degree for his thesis titled “Design of Intelligent Controller Fuzzy Logic and State Flow Based Controllers for Automatic Transmission”
The jury headed by the Assistant .Prof .Dr. Muhammad Idris, ,Assistant Prof.Dr. Nazar HadiAbbas , Assistant Prof.Dr.Umar Faruq Lutfi as members .The thesis was supervised by Asst. Prof. .Dr. Laith Muhammad Jasim.
The student discusses in his thesis two models of Intelligent Controller to take appropriate velocity transmitter meter in order to achieve the right reaction by the driver at a certain circumstances of the driving , where the first prototype of the Controllers is fuzzy logic and the other was using the current effluent , velocity transmitter were used within 4 and 5 meters. To test this controller two models of the cars were added to the experiment where consisted of three main parts which is the engine , (Gear- transmission) and the car .A model for calculating the fuel consumption and the strength , energy of the engine was used in addition to experimenting several models to change the gear – transmission location.
In spite of using two models of controllers a fuzzy logic state flow it turns out that the latter is easier and simpler in design and decision-making in addition to the amendment simplicity .It requires less calculation than a fuzzy logic, especially when the number used at organisms is huge.
