Assistant Prof.Khalid Sukar the director of Nanotechnology And Advanced Materials Research Center received the scientific team of the Environment Department at the Oil Products Distribution Company, headed by Prof. Abdul Razzaq Shiaa and professor Hossam Mohammed, It will be held on Sunday,26 June2016.
On the sidelines of the visit ,a joint meeting was held with the visiting scientific team to discuss the suitable ways to enhance the scientific and academic cooperation between the two parties. The most important topics discussed at the meeting are the company's need for nanoscale sensors used to detect various environmental contaminants in the oil manufacturing sites.
Nanotechnology And Advanced Materials Research Center director expressed his willingness to cooperate within this important field which contributes to the preservation of the environment and safety in the workplace. It is worth to be mentioned that the Nanotechnology And Advanced Materials Research Center with direct supervision by the Presidency of the University of Technology has prepared many programs considered beneficial at the industrial sector in order to support the national economy of our beloved Iraq.
