Scientific delegation of Nanotechnology Research Center at the University of Technology . Director of the Center Assistant Prof..Khalid Ajami sukar , Dr.Alia Hussein Abdul-Salam and Assistant Lecturer Ammar Turkey Saleh Assistant Lecturer. Issa Adham chalob and Assistant Lecturer. Kadhim Rashid visited Midland Refineries Company June 20,2016 .The delegation was greeted by Director General of the Arab League delegation Midland refineries Company. Mr. Zaid Kadhim Sharif director of Midland Refineries Company in addition to the scientific and administrative staff in the company were received the delegation. On the sidelines of this visit, the two parties get through effective meeting with the presence of Mr.Saad Ahmed Abdul Khaliq, director of the training department at the company to discuss nanotechnology and its applications in oil refineries methods.
On his part, Dr. Khalid director of the Nanotechnology Center said that the importance of this visit comes within the scientific and technological development in the field of nanotechnology applications in the industrial sector in general and in the oil sector in particular. The oil refineries represent one of the economic pillars of the country, that leads to a necessity of Coping with scientific developments in nanotechnology application at oil refineries to obtain a new materials with superior specifications to serve the production processes.
