Participation ina workshopat the University ofBaghdad/College of Education for Women on collaboration between theteaching staff

 Lecturers from EnglishLanguage Center(L. MayadaR. Eesa , Assistant L.Yassin M.TahirandAssistant L. YaghdhanRidhaMahdi) had participated in the workshop entitled "collaboration between the teaching staff in the Department ofEnglishLanguageand its impact onlearning andeducation outcomes". The workshop was organized by thecultural Committee of theEnglish Departmentat theCollege of Education for Women at the University ofBaghdadonSunday,15 /3//2015 at Al-MustafaHall, the aims of the workshop are:
1 - clarifying the aspects of collaboration between the teaching staff at the university.
2 - developing the collaboration relations in the English Department through the exchange of views, ideas, information and resources with respect to education and learning.
3 – Encouraging the communication between the experienced teachers and new ones.
4 – clarifying some proposals that are based on collaboration.

The Head of Department Ass. Prof. Dr.NawalFadel Abbas has delivered the opening speech of the workshop in which she expressed her happiness for organizing a workshop that serves the goals of the department and most importantly raise the academic level of the students through the preparation of researches on collaboration between the teaching staff in order to innovate and adopt new methods of teaching. At the end of her speech , she thanked the preparatory committee of the workshop and praised their efforts for the preparation of the workshop . In addition, there are number of researches and working papers introduced during the workshop, as follows:
