Under the kind attention of the president of
the University of Technology Prof. Dr. Amin Daway Thamir the mechanical
engineering department/ air conditioning and refrigeration branch held
the student engineering seminar entitled:
“The Iraqi seminar for
refrigeration and its importance in the design and performance of
cooling systems”
At Dr. Muneer Hall under the supervision of the head of the mechanical
engineering department Dr. Moyed Razooki Hasan. The representative of
the president of the university Dr. Sami Abu Alnoon the vice president
of the university for administrative affairs and Dr. Wisam Hamdan the
vice president of the university for scientific affairs also attended
the seminar. The opening started with verses of the Holy Quran and Surat
Alfatiha upon our Iraqi Martyrs. Afterwards, the representative of the
president of the university gave his opening speech followed by the
speech of the president of the branch of cooling and refrigeration
clarifying the goals on the latest techs in cooling and refrigeration
systems in the world. Also, the head of the Engineering and Construction
Bureau, Dr. Hasanain Muhammed and Dr. Ahmed Abd and Dr. Taleb Keshash
gave scientific lectures. Also, the seminar was attended by number of
international companies specialized in cooling and refrigeration and
participated in the seminar.
