Department of Computer Science holds a meeting of the General Authority under the chairmanship of the President of the University of Technology and his assistants

Department of Computer Science held a meeting of the general authority, headed by Prof. Dr. Amin Douai Thamer /president of the University of Technology and Dr. Hala Bahgat Abdel Wahab /Head of the Department of Computer Science, which in turn reviewed the most prominent achievements of this department for the academic year 2014-2015, namely:
- Upgrade a number of department' teachers.
- Open a master's study in computer security specialization.
- Dr. Maha Abdel Karim Hammoud delivered a number of scientific lectures in a number of departments and university centers.
- Activate the scientific committees of branches.
- Activating the work of five committees for postgraduate studies.
- Activate the work of the scientific sobriety for Scientific Research that starts from 01/04/2015.
- The establishment of a scientific and technical exhibitions.
- The establishment of a scientific symposium on the fourth of May this year.
- Development of administrative work through the activation of e-mail rotor which ensure the rapid access of information for those involved.

Then the University of Technology's president said, " the university deserves to offer its services because only good work remains," stressing that the faculty efforts raise the university in the world rankings and stressed the need to continue of the registration of the teaching staff activities on university' site .

In conclusion of the meeting was opened for discussion and inquiries on attendance.

This meeting was held in the presence of Dr. Wesam Kadhum Hamdan Associate Head for Academic Affairs and Dr. Sami Abu Noon Assistant Rector for administrative and Dr. Aliaa Karim Abdul Hassan, Associate Head of Department for Scientific Affairs that explained that the most important points regarding examinations , and Dr. Ayad Roudhan Abbas Associate Head of Department for the administrative affairs and heads of branches and faculty on Monday 25/05/2015.
