Student of Computer Science and of electrical engineering win table tennis university Championship for students

the player Ahmed Mohamed was granted the title of technological university championship of table tennis , the first title for the team of the Department of Computer Science in Sports 2014 -2015 when scoring first place by defeating player of oil department team with three groups of unanswered "11-8 0.11 to 2.14 -12 "in the final match, which took place at the sports hall of the Department of Education in the presence of the President of the University of Technology Prof. Dr. Amin Douai Thamer Al-Tamimi and the Director of the Department of Physical Education and artistic activity at the university, Dr. Mounir Mahmoud.

38 students representing all scientific and engineering sections which included14 sections were participated in the tournament, the semi-final of the championship matches have yielded Ahmed Mohamed who beated the player Ali Sami from the Department of Production Engineering and metals 2. Zero "11-5 0.11 to 4" while Amir Talib beated the player of Department of Mechanical Engineering 2.1 "8.11 0.11 to 2 from 0.11 to 7, to qualify the winners to the final match, while the losers got the third place jointly.

The student, Ahmed Mohamed had won the early rounds on the players Abu Bakr raed from the Department of building and constructing Engineering 2. zero and the result itself on Ali Malik of the Department of Architecture and Hatem Abdul Karim and 2-1 on Abu Bakr Ahmed, two of the Department of Electrical Engineering, while Amir from oil technology beated Amer Kazem from Department of Electromechanical Engineering and Ehab Ala Department of Applied Sciences to one result, 2. zero.

Rafael Nofal achieved the first title for the Department of Electrical Engineering in female students competition by obtaining first place through defeating the player Rowan Abdul Salam from the Department of Control Engineering and Systems 2. Zero "11.4 0.11-7" , the student Afaf Ahmed came from the Department of Control and Systems Engineering and student Hadeel Attia Department of chemical Engineering in third place.

The results of the students Championship which involved six players representing four sections resulted Rafael Nofal beat Afaf Ahmed 2. zero and the result itself Rowan Abdul Salam on Hadeel Attia while the result ended 2-1 in favor of Afaf Ahmed Hajar Thaer of the chemical engineering department and Rowan Abdulsalam the Amani student from the Department of materials Engineering.

The tournament referees were: Abdullah Adnan, Tawfiq Mohammed ,Ahmed Mahmoud, Walid Natek, Dr. Mona Taha and Huda mohammed, at the end of the tournament the president distributed awards and accolades to the winning players.
