The Technology held annual Eltuff Festival of Imam Hussein, "peace be upon him"

Under the slogan "by the blood of Hussein , the religion of Mohammed is immortal ", University of Technology held Annual tuff Festival at the University Theatre in the presence of the President of the University of Technology Prof. Dr. Amin Douai Thamer al-Tamimi and administrative assistant professor Dr. Sami Waheed Hasnawi and scientific assistant professor Dr. Sam Kadhim Hamdan and Sheikh Abdul Redha Maesh and a number of heads and students of the university.

The festival was begun with reading from the Holy Quran by the student Hassan Jawad from the Department of Architecture at the University followed by the national anthem, then the president made a speech in which he explained: that holding this festival in these precious days has a significant meaning that the University of Technology takes lessons from the martyrdom of Imam Hussein(peace be upon him) because his revolution is of the principles, values and eternity in which young men, women, the child, adult ,as well as, all the spectra took apart in it.

He added that this revolution came out of great lessons, Hussein concern for his exit from the city had its fundamental objectives, notably deviation of Islam during the reign of the Umayyad dynasty, so to be out there is a key engine to correct the path and this is what embodies the words of Imam (peace be upon him "I did not go out as spoiled or evil but exited to request reform to nation of grandfather. "

He said that we must take advantage of the principles and values of this saga to unite our people, Imam Hussein includes all in order to reach safety beach.
Then, a number of university students gave poems embodied Hussein revolution against injustice and tyranny and inspired by lessons from Hussein revolution to unite the lines.

His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Redha Maesh in his lecture spoke "How to understand the Imam Hussein" , about lessons and guideline principles that we inspire from day of Ashura and the positions of his household and his companions, citing the attitudes that go out in the world to stand with reverence and expand the obeisance of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), and this is what is reflected by Christian poets and How the rest of the other religions who talks about the incident of Karbala and Eltuff.

He said that Imam Hussein is a big cognitive system that came for happiness and culture of human, moreover, for awareness of the nation and society, and today we look at all communities and religions all go to the Imam Hussein an considered him as a beacon of truth, virtue and justice.

Sheikh Abdul Redha Maesh blessed the efforts to hold Eltuff Festival by the University of Technology, which always holds these celebrations exemplified by a large presence of students and professors, it is an awareness perspective that there depicts excellent vision carried out by the president of the university in this aspect.

At the end of the festival the university president, Sheikh Abdul Redha Maesh distributed prizes to the student winners of religious competition, which included 20 questions about the march of Imam Hussein(peace be upon him) and Eltuff incident ,the President of the University of Technology presented university Shield to Sheikh Abdul Redha Maesh.
