نبذة عن المختبر: |

يعتبر مجال شبكات الحاسـوب من المجالات العلمية الحديثة التي يستوجب الاهتمام بها بالجانبين النظري والعملي وعليه تم استحداث مختبر تخصصي في هذا المجال في العام الدراسي (2003-2004) للمرحلة الرابعة في تخصص هندسـة الحاسـوب لدعم المادة النظرية المعطاة في هذه المرحلة منذ عام 2006. يحوي المختبر على شبكة داخلية تربط جميع الحواسيب الموجودة فيه مما يتيح للطلبة القيام بالتجارب المتعلقة بهذا المجال فضلا عن وجود مختلف أجهزة الشبكات والاتصال اللاسلكية أيضا مما يعطي للطلبة معرفة نظرية وعملية واسعة في مجال الشبكات. هذا وتعطى في المختبر تجارب مادة (AutoCAD) لطلبة المرحلة الأولى وكذلك تجارب مادة (VHDL) للمرحلة الربعة لفرع هندسـة الحاسـوب. وتـُعطى المختبر الحصص بمجموع 8 ساعات أسبوعيا وبمعدل 14 طالب لكل حصة.
