Seminar entitled (Investigating and Implementing – AES algorithm based on FPGA Platform)

On Wednesday, 09/10/2013, the MSc student Rula Sami presented a seminar under the title of “Investigating and Implementing – AES algorithm based on FPGA Platform” this seminar has concentrated on:

• The implementation of traditional AES and increase the key security by adding another key algorithm before it.
• These key algorithms are LFSR, MD5 and MMD5. After analyzing the randomness, the MD5 will appear the reliability and stability more than the others. Therefore, it is implemented it with traditional AES using FPGA kit Spartan XC3S700A.

The seminar has been attended by the department stuff members as well as the postgraduate students.
